TEHRAN – Mohsen Rezaee has been given a new position at the Supreme National Defense University of Iran.

In his new position, Rezaee will oversee theorizing sessions attended by critics and arbiters, make plans for theorizing discourses in defense and security fields, oversee the evaluation of scientific proposals at the university, etc., Fars reported on Sunday.

Rezaee, now the secretary of the Expediency Council, was the IRGC chief during Iraq’s war against Iran in the 1980s and after.
